Sadi has been sick with the flu for the past five or six days. This is the second time in a month that she has had it. Guess the flu shot mutation wasn't quite spot on! Fortunately, before she got sick and before the weather here turned cold again (the sun peeked out from the clouds for a couple of days, enough to melt all of the snow), we were able to spend some time outside. The neighbor and her girls were out playing with side-walk chalk and invited Sadi and I to come and join. It was Sadi's first time side-walk-chalking and she loved it! She doesn't really draw yet but loved clutching the giant sticks of chalk, one in each hand, and running around. She's still a little tipsy as she teeters about, especially on the uneven grass, and every time she would fall, refusing to let go of the chalk, she would end up with another stripe across her face, looking like a little indian. Thanks for the sweet comment on the blog! You are the best and when I say that I actually mean it.
Poor Sadie, sick with the flu twice! That's so not fair!
P.S. Still no idea where the apostrophe should go. I've been wondering the same thing for years!
