fall frenzy

It's no surprise that holidays are a big deal in my family. I dare say that the FB is still adjusting. I hate to admit it but some of the excitement has fizzled with age. Having a baby going on toddlerhood going on childhood brings a different element to the equation: a newfound joy in it all. This fall season, my favorite time of the year, especially when here in Utah we actually get to enjoy fall, we have partaken of what is being offered.

Enjoying Sundance. Sadi and Grandma Mimi.
Contemplating life.
Sadi and Rachel.
Pumpkinland pumpkin patch.
Sadi with James (Matt & Cirina's son. Arranged marriage #1) discussing the perfect pumpkin.

Annual Halloween cupcake decorating night at Grandma Mimi's.  Yummy frosting.
Carving pumpkins.  Sadi hated their "guts".
She wouldn't come close to the pumpkins once we dug in.  Put up a good wrestle when we tried to make her.
This is as close as she would get.  At least five feet between her and the open pumpkin.
Until we were done.  Then she conversed with Mr. Jack O Lantern for awhile.
Witchapalooza at Gardner's Village.  (L-R, Tom & Suzy, Andrew & Jenna, Parker, Rachel, Clint & Summer, Zac, Warner & Shannon)

The many different shades of brunette.  All of the girls in my family have been semi or completely blonde at one time.  Sadly, even me.  This is the first time we have all been dark together.
Cher Witch.  Making the FB do YMCA.
Madonna Witch.  Vogue'ing behind Andrew's head.

So fun. makes me miss home. I was just telling Brad that I can't wait until we have kids and it brings some of that magic back to holiday happenings.
