rise above
the 2 year old that won't eat anything anymore. That won't even taste it. Even after you take the time to make her something that you know she'll eat if only she would try
rise above
the fact that what you took the extra time to make her didn't even turn out even though it always does so you had to make her something on top of that
rise above
the dishes in the sink
the laundry that seems never ending
the vacuuming
rise above
the pain in your back because you've been on your feet far too long already and it's not used to supporting that bundle of joy that is growing significantly these days
the extra pounds that are not the bundle of joy
the fact that that bundle of joy won't come down from your lung space, making it difficult to breathe
rise above
the now screaming 2 year old who just refuses to take a nap
who refuses to accept that you are in charge, not her
rise above
putting off paying the bills
putting off big decisions because no one else is going to make them
rise above
being sick of hearing about how lame the economy is
being stressed out because of the lame economy
rise above
the tired in you
just for today

I know you are not feeling like it is funny, but I am laughing so hard. It seems so hard, but when you look back, these are the days that are going to bring a smile to your face and warm feeling in your heart. I am so glad that you read a quote that helped you... I need to remember that as well... rise abvove!
I couldn't agree with you more! I also need to remember to "rise above".
I love that idea to "rise above". congratulations on your pregnancy. There is nothing else that has brought me more joy than my own kids. You are so stinkin cute!!
